Given that birdwatching tourism is a growing area and since Sagres is an exceptional location for observing various migrating birds, this is an interesting activity that you shouldn’t miss if you visit us.
Some of the species you might see include:
the Northern Gannet (Morus bassanus), the Cory’s Shearwater (Calonectris diomedea), the Balearic Shearwater (Puffinus mauretanicus), the Common Shearwater (Puffinus gravis), the Black Shearwater (Puffinus griseus), the Eurasian Pied Piper (Hydrobates pelagicus), the Oceanic Shearwater (Oceanites oceanicus), the Skua (Stercorarius skua), the Common Tern (Sterna hirundo), or the Common Tern (Sterna sandvicensis). But you might always be surprised by a rarer bird.
